Engr. Ghazala Channar

Engr. Ghazala Channar has done B.E in Civil Engineering from Quaid-e- Awam University of Engineering Science and Technology, Nawabshah in 2004, She has done M.E in Hydraulics and Irrigation from Mehran University of Engineering & Technology Jamshoro in 2010 and she is also PhD Researcher. Currently she is serving as Deputy Chief (Water Resource Section) since July 2020. She has served in Agriculture Department GoS, Planning and Development Department, GoS and WAPDA before joining Ministry of Planning Development and Special Initiatives. She is also Australian Aid Alumni as she has done short course on “Irrigation and Water Resource Management” through Australia-Pakistan Agriculture Scholarship (APAS) at University of Western Australia (UWA) Perth, Australia in 2014. Besides, she has also attended several technical and managerial trainings while working in WAPDA i-e Management Induction Course (MIC), Junior Management Course (JMC), Sector Specific Course (SSC) and shorts courses on Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System (GIS). She has 15 years of work experience in water sector.
