Clarification of the news item on CDWP appeared in EXPRESS TRIBUNE on 08 June 2018

Need has been felt to clarify a press report published in the daily Express Tribune (08-06-2018) today regarding CDWP meeting.
Unfortunately, the report shows complete lack of understanding about the role, function and convenership of the forum. It would have been better if the correspondent could have cared to seek the necessary details from competent officials which would have helped him to avoid sensational reporting based on lack of understanding about the working of the ministry/planning commission and operating procedures which are discharged in highly professional manner.

2.It would not be advisable to comment on the contents of report relating to political issue.
3. The reporter has also mentioned about the officials of the ministry once again with an angular approach for which necessary clarification has already been issued quite some time ago and is placed on the Website of the Ministry as unfortunately it is not published by his paper.
