Dr Sohaib Hassan, Member Private Sector Development (PSD), and Dr Awais-e-Siraj, Member Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation, along with the Team PSD, MoPD&SI, visited Mr Syed Aftab Haider, CEO of Pakistan Single Window, to discuss collaborative efforts for automating business processes, enhancing trade facilitation, and promoting private sector growth.
Mr Syed Aftab Haider outlined the functions of the Single Window and shared details of the support available on the Trade Information Portal. He informed the team that 92,000 registrations have already been completed through the Single Window platform. He highlighted that, in future, WeBOC will be overhauled to match modern software standards, facilitating better integration.
A key development is that the data collected through Pakistan Single Window post-2022 is also available for analysis upon request. Dr Sohaib emphasised the need for greater integration of these portals to prevent duplication of records and redundant processes.
