Dr. Najeeb Ullah serves as Member Science & Technology / ICT at the Planning Commission of Pakistan, a position he assumed in November 2024. With over 17 years of experience in academia, policy, innovation, and public sector leadership, he brings a multidimensional perspective to advancing science, technology, and education in Pakistan.

He holds a PhD and an Executive MBA from the University of Cambridge, UK, combining deep technical expertise with executive-level management. Dr. Najeeb has previously served as Interim Minister for Science & Technology and Education in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and was the Founding Director of the USAID-funded US-Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Energy (USPCASE), where he launched multiple postgraduate programmes and cutting-edge energy labs.

Recognised for his entrepreneurial vision, he received a UK government entrepreneurial visa and has led initiatives in institutional development, innovation ecosystems, and strategic energy planning. He continues to bridge academia, industry, and government through research-led consultancy and sustainable development strategies.
