Prof. Ahsan Iqbal leads the Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives and serves as Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission. His portfolio spans national planning, development investment and coordination of cross-government strategic initiatives.
An experienced parliamentarian and public-policy leader, he has been closely associated with Pakistan’s medium- and long-term development frameworks and the institutional coordination required to translate them into delivery.
