He is Master in Business Administration from Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science & Technology (SZABIST) Karachi and Master in Political Science and having Degree in Bachelor of Education from Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur. He has been serving as Chief (Education Section) BPS-20 in this Ministry since 27-02-2017 and joined as Deputy Chief on 07th December 2011. He has served in different positions in Education sector since 1996. Job description of the officer include review of development work of Federal Ministries and Provincial / Area Governments, examination / appraisal of schemes for consideration / approval of competent forum, preparation of Education Chapter of Five Year Plan, Annual Development Plan, Year Book, Pakistan Economic Survey and Federal PSDP. The officer has participated in different training and development programs at national and international level like, Executive Leadership & Management Course (ELMC), Senior Management Course (SMC) at National Institute of Management (NIM) Karachi, Project Preparation and Appraisal, Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), Socio-Economic Policies, International Conference on Population and Development beyond 2014- Global Survey and Seminar on Circular Economy and Sustainable Development for Developing Country Officials” in Beijing China
