Mr. Muhammad Arshad Khan

Mr. Arshad Khan is serving as Chief Energy (Power) at the Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives since April 2018, with over 25 years of experience in Pakistan’s energy sector. He holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore, and an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering & Technology, Taxila, and began his career with Dong Fang Electrical Corporation at the Ghazi Barotha Hydropower Project. He later worked as Sub-Divisional Officer at Peshawar Electric Supply Company (2000-2009), then as Deputy Chief Power at the Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives (2009-2018). His expertise spans energy planning, development, and operations, contributing significantly to the country’s power sector.
